Next week on September 30 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day recognizes the survivors of residential schools, their families and their communities. It’s dedicated to ensuring the history of residential schools will always be remembered. There are a wide variety of events and activities happening throughout the week all across Saskatchewan. These events and activities provide an opportunity to learn more about this history. We encourage everyone to participate in some of the opportunities listed below, or to seek out an event happening in your own community. There are many great webinars, documentaries, and resources available online to explore as well.
*The events and activities below include ones originally gathered by the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour as well as some gathered by our own team.Â
