The DAM Kind Legacy Fund was named after the donor’s 3 cherished family pets and their last name – Dixie, Arcola & Murphy Kindred. Dixie and Murphy are both 5 year old English Springer Spaniels who bring light and joy to the world on a daily basis. Arcola, the newest addition to the family, is a short haired orange tabby who decided to cross Arcola Avenue during rush hour and was rescued by the donor unharmed. Together, the 3 make life complete for the donor, and she wishes the same for all individuals and families across Saskatchewan. Growing up, the donor has always had pets that were very much a part of the family, but knows that this isn’t the case for all animals across the province and has set up this fund to ensure more animals and families get to experience the love and warmth that each other can bring, and focus on keeping animals within the province safe and healthy in general, particularly cats and dogs. This fund is very much for the animal lovers of Saskatchewan.
