Bob Perry's Story
I was born in Regina on January 23, 1947, the first of four children of John and Edith Perry.
I attended Central Collegiate and Thom Collegiate in Regina graduating in 1965 and began the process of becoming an accountant.
In 1977 I had the good fortune of finding employment with Kramer Ltd as a Chartered Professional Accountant where I am still employed today.
The Kramer family’s charitable giving, community involvement and generosity has influenced me in my decision to establish a fund.
My fund has been established to support the Vital Signs charities supporting homelessness, hunger, domestic violence and others.
My involvement in the arts has included 20 years on the board of the Mackenzie Art Gallery including 4 years as chair.
I also served 5 years on the board of the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa including 2 years as vice-chairman.
I became familiar with the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation during my 6 years on the board.
I am currently on the board of the Health Arts Society (Concerts in Care).
