In memory of Bob and Helen Magel, this Fund supports the Bob and Helen Magel Memorial Bursary and is awarded to Grade 12 students graduating from William Derby School.  This bursary is awarded based on need, with preference given to students from the Duval area.

The Magels were active members of the community for their entire adult lives, playing key roles in many of the community groups, facilities, organizations, churches, sports and other events.  Having raised four children in Duval, they also understood the importance of education in helping future generations to move forward and in sustaining Duval and the surrounding in the years to come.
